And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My office while in the Navy at NAS Key West faced the main runway. There was nothing like seeing a Phantom warming up and then going to afterburner at night. Just awesome.
Was at Langley around 1986 walking around with an NCO as one flew over. His comment, "This just proves that given enough horse power, even a brick can fly". They were primarily flying F-15's there at the time.
