Jupiter's South Pole as seen by Juno, a massive swirly mess.

  1. I'm an amateur astronomer, visual eyes-on as opposed to armchair. In that polar image I see galaxies.......galaxies in every stage of development. Some looked fully formed, some eliptical, barred spirals, ring galaxies, proto-galaxies, colliding galaxies in various states of chaos with minimal intergalactic space between them. It's almost as if you took every galaxy I've ever seen and squished them into an early view of the Universe. Very cool image.
