This is just amazing to me.

Obama's friendliest audience has got to be the NAACP, yet he blew off making an appearance at their annual convention.

Not Mitt Romney. He marched straight into the lion's den, addressed just about the most hostile audience he's likely to see outside of Damascus, and came away with a bunch of boos and a standing ovation.

This he did even though some prominent African Americans crudely called him "too white" to be considered as a candidate by Blacks.

The contrast between Romney's balls and Obama's condescension couldn't be plainer to all voters of whatever political stripe.

Even Wolf Blitzer is annoyed that his man blew this easy job, but that is in fact what Obama has done for the last three and a half years.

Obama didn't make an appearance even though his schedule is clear.   Maybe the message he is sending to Blacks that he feels he can take them for granted?

Some think that this type of arrogance, or incompetence if you will, could end up tipping the election to Romney.   Certainly, the NAACP got to see a brave performance by the Republican, all the while their faces were smarting from the slap that their candidate had just given them.

This election is stacking up to be even more interesting than it already promised to be.  It's all going to be on the line in November.
